DESCRIPTION:**At Full Capacity!**\n\n\n\nGrimes Governors Days is an annual event that is organized by Grimes Chamber & Economic Development in coordination with the Governors Days Committee and with the support of dozens of local Chamber Member sponsors and the City of Grimes. The event consists of live music\, a large entertainment garden\, Sam's Amusements Carnival\, the Athletico 5k/Fun Run\, the MS Moments Bags Tournament\, multiple parades\, food and craft vendors\, the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast\, and many other events. \n\n \n\nGovernors Days is one of the grandest summer festivals in the Des Moines\, Iowa metropolitan area. Sign you\, your business\, or your cause up for our Grand Parade held in Grimes from 10AM-12PM on Saturday\, June 11th.\n\n\n\n\n\nStaging: 8-10:00 AM\n\nParade Start: 10:00 AM\n\n \n\nParade Route will be posted prior to event taking place on the 11th. Will post map on www.governorsdays.com and this event page.
