DESCRIPTION:This is a new event happening during Governors Days 2022. If you are a vendor wanting to sell your DIY crafts\, advertise your business\, or participate with a booth at this festival but only want to participate in one day of the festivities this is your chance!  This year we will be hosting a Craft Day on Saturday\, June 11th for vendors to take part in.  \n\n\n\nGovernors Days is one of the grandest summer festivals in the Des Moines\, Iowa metropolitan area. Held entirely within the Governors District\, in the heart of Grimes\, Iowa\, this premier summer event incorporates all the ingredients for an exciting family friendly event.\n\nComplete with concerts\, parades\, carnivals\, great vendors and much\, much more\; Governors Days has something for everyone. This grand community event is headed up by a vibrant group of dedicated volunteers and organized with the help of Grimes Chamber & Economic Development.\n\n\n\nSet up starting at 7AM on Saturday.  Those wanting to be closer to the drop off area will need to be there before 8:45 AM as the parade will be setting up after that point.  We encourage all craft day vendors to park on the north side of South Prairie after and we will help shuttle their gear to site.\n\n \n\nOpen hours will be: 11:30   6:30 PM
