The Grimes Chamber has teamed up with Grimes Parks & Recreation to bring you this Holiday Celebration!
Santa is coming to Grimes! The Grimes Holiday Celebration is a WALK-THRU event that celebrates the season and takes place on December 7th from 5pm-7pm at Heritage Park.
Prior to the event, Santa will travel through the community on a fire truck courtesy of the Johnston-Grimes Municipal Fire Department!
Bundle up and bring the kiddos to see Santa and many other characters, enjoy activities including hot cocoa, trivia, goodie bags, holiday lights and music while walking around Heritage Park! This newly updated event is fun for the whole family. Make sure to bring along your letters for Santa!
Information about the Holiday Celebration event:
Goodie Bags are first come first serve! You must be in attendance to receive them, unfortunately no extra bags will be given to those at home. We have a lot to give but want to ensure all in attendance have a chance to receive them.
This is a NEWLY UPDATED EVENT so, as you stroll through Heritage Park, we kindly ask all attendees to show respect toward our volunteers, costumed characters, and festive decorations. Please refrain from touching decorations, stay off the grass and roped-off areas, and maintain a courteous attitude while waiting in line to meet Santa Claus. Thank you for helping us create a joyful experience for everyone!
